Earning Eurobonus points is something all travellers should do. You can use the points to buy tickets or upgrade to a higher class. Become a Eurobonus member

First step if you’re not already a member, is to become a Eurobonus member. 

Never heard of Eurobonus? Well it’s a system within Scandinavian Airlines that basically gives you points on every flight you take. With enough points you can use them to pay for flights. Which is actually great because you’d take those flights anyway, and now they give you these points that you can use to buy another flight later for free! 

Order a SAS Mastercard or American Express

To be able to collect points on everything, you need to order either a Mastercard or an American Express from SAS.

The advantages on the two cards you can see if you visit SASs web page. But basically with the Mastercard you can book Eurobonus flights, and pay for SAS Go, but you get SAS plus. And with the American Express, you can book Eurobonus flights for 2 and pay only for 1. Go to SAS and follow the step by step guide on how to order a card.

Haven or Heaven?

Register all points from ALL flights

Once you’ve become a SAS Eurobonus member, the first thing you should do is to register the points for all flights six months back in time. They still allow you register these points! Great right?

From now on you need to make sure that every flight you take are registered. So that you get the Eurobonus points. And make sure you fly with airlines that’ll let you collect Eurobonus points.

Pay only with your new card

Everything you pay with your new card will give you Eurobonus points! If you do like us, you’ll get points on everything you buy. This is things that you would buy anyway, and now you get Eurobonus points for it. You’ll quickly see that you’re collecting tons of Eurobonus points in no time! 

Make sure you pay of your debts

When you use a Mastercard or an American Express it’s very important that you pay back what you’ve used on your card as soon as possible. And that you don’t buy more than what you can afford to pay back! Once a month you’ll get a bill to pay from SAS, and it’s very important that you pay back the whole amount. If not, you’ll end up having to pay interest on the amount you have paid with your card. And you really don’t want that.
